Born in New York, Dr. Gold pursued his medical education by attending a six-year biomedical program through the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (BS) and Albany Medical College (MD). He continued his medical education with an internship at Grady Memorial Hospital, Atlanta, GA and residency training through the Emory University Affiliated Hospitals. He is a senior attending in the department of OB-GYN at Lenox Hill Hospital, where he has been an attending since 1981.
