About Dr. Mark Richards

Dr. Mark joined the Canton team in 2025, bringing over a decade of experience and a passion for helping people move better, feel better, and live more active lives. Originally from Lockport, NY, he first studied engineering at the University of Buffalo before deciding to pursue chiropractic after shadowing his older brother’s practice. Inspired by the impact of chiropractic on patients’ lives, he transferred to D’Youville College, where he earned both a Bachelor of Science in Biology and his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 2014. For 11 years, Dr. Mark practiced in Woodstock, GA, helping countless patients return to the activities they love. “The best thing is when a patient gets up from the table feeling so much better than when they walked in,” he says. “Not much can beat that.” He values The Joint’s commitment to making high-quality care both accessible and affordable, believing chiropractic is not a luxury but essential to everyday wellness. Outside the clinic, Dr. Mark is an avid disc golfer and soccer enthusiast. He enjoys playing and coaching, as well as cheering for his children from the sidelines. He and his wife, Amanda, live in Canton with their three children and two energetic dogs, Rocky and Maggie. Their family life is rooted in faith, creativity, and community.
