About Dr. Mary Gover
Dr. Mary Gover received her medical degree from Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons. She completed her Internal Medicine residency at Montefiore Einstein and served as chief resident for that program.
Throughout her career, Dr. Gover has worked in medical and resident physician education, including in the role of Associate Residency Program Director. She has also worked in clinical administration.
Above all else, Dr. Gover is passionate about patient care. She believes not only in the importance of clinical excellence and expertise but also in collaboration and partnership. She is certified in health coaching through WellCoaches, with the aim of furthering patients’ personal health goals and overall wellness.

By far the best primary care doctor I’ve ever seen in 20 years in NYC. Really appreciated how much time she took learning my history, her candor and her recommendations. The office staff was great too.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Appointment went great, each person I saw along the way to the doctor was incredibly friendly. Dr. Gover is the warmest, most thorough, and most compassionate doctor I have met in a long time. She genuinely wanted to know why I was there, took detailed notes on my medical history and health goals, and made me feel heard, listened to, and supported. Dr gover was so thorough and kind. She has amazing bedside manners and really wants to get to know you as a patient and understand your health concerns. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a primary care physician. I am so glad I made an appointment with her.

I had an incredible experience with Dr. Gover and her team. I was seen immediately, the office is beautiful and extremely nice, and Dr. Gover spent so much time with me (almost an hour!) listening to my concerns, making sure she understood what I was saying, doing the exam, and walking me through diagnoses and next steps. I was really struck by all of the little things the office and Dr. Gover did to make the experience feel patient-centered. I don't think I've ever had a doctor spend that much time with me. I've had negative experiences with dismissive doctors in the past so was extremely pleased with my appointment with Dr. Gover. From the beginning, she made it clear that getting to know me was her top priority. She listened intently to my concerns and provided excellent guidance. I also really appreciated her transparency throughout the appointment. She showed me my chart and her notes as we spoke and asked for my consent for all of recommended blood work tests before putting the order in. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and patient-focused doctor, especially if you've had negative experiences in the past.

Dr gover was so kind and make me feel so comfortable. She took the time to get to know me and hear out any concerns I had about my health (mentally and physically). The nurse also took very great care while taking my labs which is something I am always nervous about and usually have a reaction to. The office is very clean and the staff was nice.

Dr. Mary Gover was absolutely wonderful in every way. After moving away from my hometown and leaving my childhood doctor whom I loved, I had a couple of bad experiences with doctors who did not seem to care about me as an individual at all. Dr. Gover was such a relief to visit with, and she reminded me so much of the personalized care I experienced with my small-town doctor. She took time to get to know me, my health history, and my life in depth. She was very attentive, respectful, showed me she truly cared about my wellbeing and my continued health, and put me completely at ease. I would recommend Dr. Gover to anyone!

Exceptional physician, team, and clinic. This is the first time I had a physician ask in depth about my health motivators, current stressors, and concerns. I went just for an annual wellness check, and I came out with a thorough lifestyle evaluation, beyond just vital signs and numbers. Can tell this team is well led by Dr Mary Grover, who seems to truly care for her patients. The nurse and front were also welcoming and professional.
