Dr. Weiss received both his undergraduate and medical degree from McGill University in Montreal, Canada. He then completed an internship at The Royal Victoria Hospital in Montreal and medical residencies at both St. Michael's Hospital in Toronto and Toronto General Hospital. Dr. Weiss then completed a cardiology fellowship at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. He has been an active member in medical societies such as the American College of Cardiology, the American Heart Association, the Society for Cardiac Angiography and Interventions, the American College of Chest Physicians, the American College of Angiology, as well as the Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography. Do you need to see a cardiologist? Are you looking for a professional staff? No worries, this is NOT the place for you!
Are you a new patient with a confirmed appointment? You might want to triple check before leaving work early and sitting through LA traffic or else you might be notified your appointment is unavailable upon arrival.
From patient care to (lack of) professionalism... this is not what you’re looking for. Absolutely terrible.

Nice office, would recommend. Nice staff and they processed me pretty quickly.
There is a $5 parking fee even with validation. Make sure you bring your parking ticket with you for validation or the price can more than double.

The doctor and the nurse were professional and listened carefully to my concern, recommended a plan and asked questions to further clarify my health issue. I felt taken care of.
The front desk clerk was a horrible experience. From the time I arrived and signed my name on the sheet, nobody acknowledged me for longer than 30 min. Once i introduced myself they collected the insurance card and the driver license and I was left to wait an hour until I lost patience and asked why was everybody ahead of me and what is going on. Only at that time they said they could not find me with the insurance carrier. I volunteered to help and call from my cell, to speed up the process. I had to return to work and was running out of time. They agreed I should call, yet when I reached the insurance career rep and was asked for the provider ID they would not share that info neither they would take my cell and talk directly with the carrier...

I think the problem is with the office staffs and billing department. On Day one, they didn't check my insurance card properly and I had to go there on Day Two. Everything went fine on Day Two including seeing the doctor. I went there for a annual physical. After 1 week and they called me and said my insurance is cancelled. I told her that my insurance should be fine. She said she is gonna correct it. After 4 weeks, I got a bill with everything shown as a normal visit, not as a yearly physical.
I am trying to call them now about it but the billing department is not picking their phone.
In a nutshell, the doctor is good but other people may not be doing their job well. I don't recommend this place, If I can swee Dr. Weiss in another location, I would do it.

This was my first time with Dr. Mason Weiss. I signed in and when in to see the doctor in 5 min. The staff is very nice and professional. Even the patients talked highly of the doctors and staff. It is worth the drive and you will get the care you need. I highly recommend this doctor.

Dr. Mason Weiss is hand down the best doctors I've ever been to. He not only took good care of me but he also gave me my life back. Because of Dr. Weiss I have more energy and I'm so much healthier. Thank you Dr Weiss!

I've been to many doctor office and I've never been to one as clean and as organized as Apex. Dr. Weiss took his time with me and actually listened to what was going o with me. I'm glad I chose Dr Weiss!
