He received a bachelor’s degree in biology, Cum Laude, from Adelphi University, and a Doctor of Optometery degree, Magna Cum Laude from the prestigious University of Houston School of Optometry, where he also completed his post graduate studies in Ocular Therapeutics and Glaucoma treatment. He is a member of Beta Sigma Kappa an International Optometric Honor Society, Phi Kappa Phi, the oldest collegiate honor society dedicated to academic excellence in all professions, and American MENSA. As Accent Eyecare’s eye doctor at the Arlington location, Doctor Bashover specializes in myopia control, therapeutic optometry, keratoconus, and fittings for glasses and disposable contact lenses. As a certified Therapeutic and Glaucoma licensed Optometrist, he services the needs of patients with eye infections, abrasions, glaucoma, dry eyes, allergic eyes, and other eye injuries.
