I waited in my car for 40 minutes, clinical staff never called me once I was checked in. I took it upon myself to call the 703-6999 number to see what was going on. I understand doctors run behind, however a courtesy call from the staff to inform me of status would’ve been appreciated. The checkout rep decided to help another patient as she was checking me out, which I thought was rude. She was in the middle of making my f/u appointment when another patient walked up to ask a question. The rep asked me to wait, then decided to take 3-4 minutes to assist this person with a non emergent appointment question. I thought it was rude and unprofessional of her to do this, considering I had been in the office for 2 hours at this point between the delay in the car and duration of the appointment. Lastly, I was told a recommended test I was needing had no openings until February. Seriously? This is unacceptable and the reason people leave CRHC. Not enough specialists and extremely long wait times for appointments. Overall, this was an unpleasant and unprofessional experience. Unfortunate
Very good

Dr Pomykaia is an excellent doctor no complaints there. But I had to wait a half an hour to get in the another half an hour for prep work then I see the doctor for 5 minutes. It took me another half an hour to get another follow up appointment. This was the worst part. After waiting about 15 minutes in the office the secretaries said I could make an appointment with the people in the lobby desk. I waited there for another 15 minutes because even though there was two people behind the desk only one was helping people. I have no idea what the other one was doing. She wsan't typing on the computer or answering the phones. So they told me to go back inside to make the appointment. where I ended up making the appointment

Verified patient
was disappointed that he does not check your eye sight for glasses to, now I have to make another doctor appointment, but he didn't take appropriate time to explain or show me my problems.
Verified patient
Very professional, efficient and informative

Dr. Pomykala is very professional and explains medical information very well. His nurse was great. But the receptionist Theresa Haas should not be allowed to deal with patients; she acted annoyed when asked questions and her speech and manner was bull of negative attitude; I will no longer go to this middletown office because of her. I will go to Rock Hill.
Great doctor wonderful at explaining
