About Dr. Matthew Rauco
Dr. Matthew Rauco is proud to call Jacksonville, Florida his hometown. He grew up very active in sports, mainly soccer all throughout his childhood and into his high school years. It was at Mandarin High School where Dr. Matt met his wife and co-founder Brittany. He then attended Florida Atlantic University where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science and Health Promotion. Most importantly, it was in his final year in undergrad that he discovered the field of chiropractic and the innate healing ability the body has.
After graduation, he and Brittany moved to Atlanta, Georgia where he pursued his Doctorate in Chiropractic at Life University. While in school, Dr. Rauco learned about the impact that the nervous system plays on the functioning ability of the body. Also while completing the curriculum at Life University, Dr. Matt sought out further education and specialization by the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association. He would obtain his certification in the Webster technique which is an advanced certification that instructs doctors how to specifically care for prenatal and postpartum mothers. During this time at Life University, he also specialized in the Torque Release Technique as well as the Thompson technique to provide the most gentle specific chiropractic adjustment to his community.
At the final stage of his schooling, Dr. Rauco had the privilege of completing his internship at the largest pediatric practice in Georgia with Drs. Jeremy and Amanda Hess at Discover Chiropractic. After graduating in 2021, Dr. Matt is ready to return to his hometown and provide hope and healing to his community through neurological principled based chiropractic care.
While outside the office, you can find Dr. Matt being active in the community, exploring Jacksonville, and networking with other small businesses. He also enjoys hiking, cooking, and most importantly supporting the Jacksonville Jags and the Chelsea Blues.

I met Britney & Dr. Matt at the Womens show & I was very impressed with their knowledge professionalism. I sign up then & there & have been a patient ever since. I have made huge improvement on my better health Journey.

They write legends of healers like Dr Rauco. He and Brittany were fantastic. I would advise to see him first before any orthopedic actions, before any surgery. I will adopt him as my son.

Very good experience. I have only seen him once so won’t give 5 stars quite yet. I’ll wait until I’m better. He seemed knowledgeable and office was very nice and clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Treatment approach was a little different from the Dr. who helped me a lot in Scottsdale, AZ. Doesn’t mean anything negative but I will reserve judgement until I see results of his treatment.

I really enjoyed my experience at Fortitude Family Practice! I booked my partners first visit before even leaving the office. It was such a warm and welcoming experience. Everything and Everyone was very informative and interesting. The office was beautiful, clean, and great location. I loved the fact it was a Husband and Wife family practice and both of them were so knowledgeable and passionate about their work.
