About Dr. Matthew Waldron

Several years ago, something happened that changed my life forever. I was working in construction, using my body in ways that put a great deal of strain on my spine. Most days, I managed fine, but one day I really messed up. While lifting a heavy box out of a van, my low back became very sore. The pain was so intense that I couldn’t finish the workday and had to go home. The next morning, I couldn’t even stand up straight, and when I tried, I felt shooting pains down my leg. I was scared. I missed work and was stuck at home lying on the floor. After a few days, I started to feel better, and after a couple of weeks, I returned to work. Then bam—it happened again, only worse. This time, I was bent over to the side, and instead of pain, I had numbness all the way down to my foot. I saw a medical doctor who suggested I quit my job, stop playing basketball, and give up water skiing. If that didn’t help, surgery might be necessary. “That’s all we can do,” he said. I was terrified. My wife was seeing a chiropractor after being rear-ended in a car crash. She encouraged me to visit her chiropractor to see if he could help. He explained that a nerve in my low back was irritated from pressure. When he adjusted my spine to relieve that pressure, the numbness disappeared. I was so relieved. It wasn’t my first time seeing a chiropractor, but it had been a long time. Then something amazing happened. After about six months, I realized I hadn’t had a single day of problems. I felt better overall than I had in a long time. I continued chiropractic care to maintain my spine’s health. I was playing basketball twice a week, water skiing as much as I could, and working up to 50 hours a week. Convinced that chiropractic adjustments helped me stay active and at work, I recommended it to friends and co-workers. One day, my chiropractor thanked me for referring a friend and grinned, telling me I should consider becoming a chiropractor. That advice changed my life.

The peaceful, clean and friendly environment in the office. Dr. Waldron is very professional, knowledgeable, and patient, he explains what he’s about to do before he starts. He also the allows me to ask questions, and always after he explains something asks if it makes sense and/or understand what was explained. I would definitely recommend his services to all my friends and or family. I like the fact that Dr. Waldron also explained about insurance or payments, and that they are available to see me almost at my schedule.

Dr. Waldron has been so helpful for several different issues I've had over the years. He always listens intently, and asks great questions, before making any diagnosis. He is very honest regarding my care, and how my needs may change while undergoing treatment. I have recommended Dr. Waldron to many friends and family. Others that I have referred, have also been pleased with the care they received. I will continue to recommend him to anyone that is in need of treatment... even if they don't feel a chiropractor would be helpful. Many of the issues I've had, were treated by my GP, and other specialists; but Dr. Waldron's treatment was the one I found most beneficial for long term health.

The dr saw us right away in an emergancy situation and helped my daughter a lot. His diagnosis was clear and comforting to her after being scared by other dr's, and he worked in a plan and treatment schedule quickly. I got the impression that he is very knowledgeable, and has good communication skills and comforting personality. So far seems very impressive and I would highly recommend.
