My training background is in cognitive-behaviorally oriented therapies such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Exposure plus Response Prevention (ERP). I also integrate mindfulness, alliance-building, and acceptance-based techniques. Beyond my private practice, I am a Project Administrator at the New York State Psychiatric Institute and an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medical Psychology in Psychiatry at Columbia University. My academic pursuits have led to the publication of numerous articles and book chapters, in addition to presentations at international conferences on a range of mental health topics.
