More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.

The initial breathing/meditation exercise helps soothe the anxiety of meeting with someone whom you need to be vulnerable with.
Maz has been very helpful through this current phase in my life. When I first started therapy I was extremely anxious and trying my best to hold it together. He created a safe space to process my thoughts and gently empowered me to take baby steps to get myself feeling better. We have processed trauma, focused on goals and he has taught me new tools like breath work to better manage the day to day. He is knowledgeable in his field and able to help redirect my thought process while being compassionate about my situation. I appreciate his guidance and support very much and think others could benefit from his practice as well.
Maz is the first therapist I’ve ever felt that I had a true relationship with. He is kind, open, and I feel he sees me as a whole. He is very good at focusing on what is important at the time while not requiring me to open everything in my life that has been challenging. This allows me to make progress on key points instead of being overwhelmed by absolutely everything. I am thankful he is my provider.
I wish I could pick a lot more than two. Maz is a very talented and compassionate PsyD— we cover so much ground with each session and I consistently feel uplifted and hopeful after speaking to him. He is very attentive and insightful; I feel like the sessions are tailored very well to my needs.
