About Dr. Medha Amin
?I find immense satisfaction in caring for women through all stages of their life. I take pride in nurturing a trusted relationship with my patients through compassionate listening. I strongly believe in educating patients and empowering them to take charge of their health. As an obstetrician, I feel blessed to witness the miracle of life and be a part of my patients' journey to motherhood. I have a keen interest in minimally invasive surgery, which enables patients to recover faster after major surgery. Some of my interests include contraception, preventative medicine in women's health, and high-risk pregnancies. I earned my Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College and completed my residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Illinois, Chicago.?

Checked into a room the nurse had to asked the same questions as the online registration due to the system didn't transfer all answers. After the nurse I've waited 30 minutes until the doctor saw me. I've explained my pain and irritation. They did a urine, blood and culture tests and the doctor prefer not to prescribe any medicine until results. I was told I will have to wait after the weekend for results. So I had to go through the pain and irritation for 5 days. Fast forward to 6 days (not 5) later no updates in the app nor call on main results. I've called requested for results. Hours later results is normal. NO call from doctor to see if I'm still in pain or what is the next step to figure out and help give relief. I feel like the Dr doesn't care. I will advise a friend or anyone to stay away from Provider.

Finding a new OBYGN is always hard but Dr. Amin was very kind. Soft spoken and had a very nice bedside manner. Made everything go as quickly as possible without feeling rushed. I had blood drawn by Francesca and she was a saint! Made an unpleasant experience somewhat enjoyable! This office has great hours if you work a typical day job.

If you want a timely response, don’t choose these people. The WORST! It took two weeks for my labs to come in. When they did, I had to keep calling to get an update on the treatment plan. I just don’t feel like I was valued as a new patient. It sucks because I was really hopeful but I won’t be back after this.

Dr. Medha Amin was great. I was looking for a new gyne because I wasn’t comfortable with my previous provider. She was so sweet, patient with me, clear with her assessment and plan, and was thorough. She provided the appropriate information on prevention. Happy I found a new gyne I feel comfortable with!
