About Dr. Megan Gleason

Dr. Gleason is board-certified in orthopedic surgery and sports medicine. Her practice focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of activity and sports-related injuries in the knee, shoulder, and elbow. Dr. Gleason graduated from Dartmouth College with a bachelor’s degree in biophysical chemistry. She received her medical degree from the Boston University School of Medicine. Dr. Gleason completed her orthopedic surgery residency followed by additional fellowship training in sports medicine at the University of Virginia, Charlottesville. In addition to clinical practice, Dr. Gleason has covered several area sports teams, including Southern Connecticut State University, Albertus Magnus College Men’s Ice Hockey, and many local high schools. Dr. Gleason is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, and the Ruth Jackson Orthopaedic Society. She is also a Castle Connolly Top Doctor.
