About Dr. Megan Johnson
Dr. Megan Johnson attended the University of Florida where she received her Doctor of Medicine in 2010, graduating cum laude with Alpha Omega Alpha honors, and continued on to complete her residency in obstetrics and gynecology in 2014. Prior to obtaining her medical degree, she achieved her Bachelor of Science in 2006 from the University of Central Florida, graduating summa cum laude with a degree in Microbiology and Molecular Biology.
Research Dr. Johnson completed while at the University of Florida was accepted and published in the Journal of the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons. She received several awards while in residency including the Society of Teaching Scholars Outstanding Resident Teaching Award and the Resident Teacher of the Year Award. A highlight of residency for Dr. Johnson was a medical mission trip to Haiti to perform gynecological surgeries.
