About Dr. Melanie Hecker

Dr. Melanie Hecker earned her Doctor of Medicine from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York, following a Master's Degree in Business Administration. She completed her internship at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center and her dermatology residency there. As an attending physician at St. Luke's Hospital in New York, she served as Dermatology Clinic Chief, Director of the Clinical Research Unit, and was the department's expert on nail dermatology. Dr. Hecker is skilled in the treatment of hair loss, nail disorders, and dermatologic surgery. She is also recognized as an expert in Skin of Color, which requires a different approach to dermatologic treatment.

I have left no less than five messages at Dr Heckers Office. It goes straight to voicemail and no one calls back for MY BIOPSY RESULTS. It might not be important to them but it is to me.
I finally reached the receptionist today and she assured me they would call and they never did.

I would rather not, first of all booking the appointment was a hassle followed by a request for a referal that wasnt necessary. rude staff, cancelled the appointment for skin center today which was much better.

Outstanding! The moment I walked in, I felt welcomed & comfortable. The staff raises the bar in customer service, friendliness & professionalism. Everything is clean and everyone shows they genuinely care. They also have revolutionary treatment. I had Basel cell cancer on my face. No side effects, no digging, no scars, only a spot treatment that works! This is the way all doctors should run their practices.

My first time here. I did a peel for my face to help with brown spots. I was very happy with the service and the knowledge of the friendly staff and the aesthetic specialist who did my peel. I cam't wait to do another peel.
