About Dr. Melanie Sheinheit
Dr. Melanie Sheinheit is an attentive and detail-oriented optometrist caring for the Plainview, NY community. Dr. Sheinheit obtained her degree in optometry from the State University of New York and completed her residency at Veterans Affairs New York Harbor Healthcare System. Dr. Sheinheit sees patients for contact lens fittings, eye infections, routine vision exams, dmv exams, and myopia management. Outside of her practice, Dr. Sheinheit enjoys photography and spending time with her family.
Dr. Sheinheit’s goal is to provide patients with the best eye care and vision to suit all their visual needs. She believes in listening to each patient and creating a partnership to maintain and improve lifelong health.
