I have a passion for medicine and working with people. I sincerely want to help others, and I'm excited and happy to assist whether you have a quick, acute problem, a long-standing chronic issue, or you would like to work on getting and staying as healthy as possible.
In your opinion, what should be the role of a primary care provider for a patient, taking into account both physical health and behavioral health needs?
A primary care provider should be someone you feel very comfortable with who can provide holistic (physical, psychological, emotional, and spiritual) acute care, chronic care, preventive care, and lifestyle guidance so you can be your best self!

I love spending time with my family, reading, hiking, working out, and cooking. I also love animals and nature.

As a patient (and a RN) I found my appointment with Dr. Au to be exceptional.
The prescribed treatment for my chief complaint was quantitatively successful, which I appreciate. Dr. Au was herself relief from that which ails the healthcare system writ large, and primary care perhaps most gravely of all. I recommend this provider, 10/10, based not on the treatment prescribed, but how I was treated-like a real person, by a real person.
