About Dr. Merry Gindorf
Dr. Merry Gindorf graduated from Indiana University, Bloomington, with bachelor's degrees in Biology, Chemistry, and Mathematics. She then earned a Master's in Visual Sciences from the Illinois College of Optometry, where she also completed her Doctor of Optometry degree, graduating with honors. Dr. Gindorf was recognized for her exceptional research and clinical work at the College and received the Faculty Memorial Award, honoring an outstanding student clinician and researcher. After completing a residency at the University of Houston, Dr. Gindorf began her practice in Cicero, IL. She operates one of the last full-service optical laboratories in Chicagoland. Dr. Gindorf has held board positions in her community with the La Grange AYSO, PTA Board, and District 101 Foresight Committee. She resides in Western Springs and has two children.
