Micah Girard, O.D., earned his Doctor of Optometry from the Southern College of Optometry in 2003 after completing a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a Minor in Chemistry from Palm Beach Atlantic University in 1999. Dr. Girard's extensive experience and attentive approach to listening ensure that patients' needs are thoroughly understood and addressed. He firmly believes that optometry, being such a small and specialized field, presents a unique opportunity to impact a person's life in deep and meaningful ways when practiced accurately. Throughout his career, he has dedicated himself to ensuring his patients receive the highest quality of care. Outside of his professional pursuits, Dr. Girard finds joy in fishing and gardening.

Dr Girard is the best. He’s very soft spoken, patient and listens to your concerns in a way that’s extremely refreshing in the medical world. I also appreciate the way he explains things in such a clear and patient way. The staff is extremely friendly, but I also appreciate the way they communicate with eachother and seem to genuinely work well together.
