About Dr. Michael Shaffer
Dr. Michael Shaffer, Chiropractic Physician, is the founder of Michael C. Shaffer, D.C., P.A., a state-of-the-art practice just two miles from beautiful downtown Naples, Florida. He specializes in Non-Surgical Spinal Decompression and Deep Tissue Pain Management Laser Therapy. He has been in practice since 1981, and has dedicated his life to helping patients by providing exceptional and compassionate care.
Dr. Shaffer studied Pre-Med at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio and received his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree from Sherman College of Chiropractic in South Carolina. His additional education was through the National College of Chiropractic in Chicago, the Post-Graduate Orthopedic Program and the University of Miami, Nutrition.
He is board-certified by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners and is Certified in Manipulation Under Anesthesia as well as Non-Surgical Spinal Decompression. He was appointed to the Allied Health Professional Staff in the Department of Surgery at Physicians Regional Hospital for five years. Dr. Shaffer was an examiner for the State of Florida Department of Professional Regulation, Chiropractic Licensure Exam for 10 years. He has performed complimentary evaluations for Special Olympics athletes in Collier County for the last 25 years.
During his career, he has continued to expand the excellence of services provided, specializing in chronic and difficult cases. He is diligent in collaborating with other healthcare professionals, when needed, to optimize patient outcomes, as well as utilizing the highly sophisticated Hill DT Spinal Decompression table and the latest multi-wave locked laser for pain management therapy, the M7.

Absolute professionals. From Kay at the front desk to Dr. Schaffer, it could not have been a better experience. They are professional, kind, extremely smart and cautious in dealing with your issue. They truly take pride and making sure it's right and you get better in the long run. They also have the state of the art equipment to help not only reduce swelling, but pain as well. Highly recommend.

The Dr Schaffer was great, on time right to the point.He,Listened to everything I needed to say. He checked me for temp,blood pressure,oximeter..He adjusted me on the chiropractors table,then 17 minutes of laser Great practice I give them a 10 on every thing.I’ve had 3 visits and I’m starting to feel a difference. I had 2 months of physical therapy,and never felt this good 9 more treatments to go.
