There is no better pain management physician in the tri state area. Dr. Umanoff is the most knowledgeable and resourceful expert in this specialty. He has been extremely helpful and very present for me. I have been his patient for a long time and was never disappointed by him. His staff is very pleasant and accomadating.

Dr. Umanoff is a compassionate doctor who cares about his patients. He makes you feel like you are his only patient. He is extremely knowledgeable and will answer all the questions you have. When I leave the office I know all my questions are answered and that I am receiving the best care possible.

Dr. Umanoff is the Director of Pain Management at Total Pain Care in New Jersey and is board-certified in both Anesthesiology and Pain Management. After earning a medical degree, he completed his residencies in both surgery and anesthesiology. He joined the staff of St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in 1989 and established the Pain Center.
Dr. Umanoff earned his medical degree from University of Xochicalco – Medical School and has been practicing Pain Medicine for 33 years. He specializes in painful disorders of the spine, complex regional pain syndrome and sports-related injuries. He has initiated the use of cutting-edge interventional techniques for the successful treatment of these and other conditions.

This was my first post procedural visit. I was greeted by staff warmly and seen promptly. The doctor was patient, concerned, compassionate and professional. His bedside manner was exemplary and I never felt rushed. Dr Umanoff listened fully and answered all questions in layman's terms so I could fully comprehend my condition. Dx and Tx

All my visits have been great. Dr. Umanoff is truly a "one of a kind" doctor. He takes his time in explaining your diagnosis and cares about his patients progress. He is the best in the field. He has stuck by my side when my other doctors simply gave up on me. If your working for your quality of life back, Dr Umanoff and staff are your go to. I cannot say enough about him. He is great!

Everything went really well. I feel Dr. Umanoff knows exactly what he's doing and knows what's best for me. I never leave feeling that I haven't been helped. We always find a solution and ways to make me feel better without me being on lot of medicene. I've had to go through a lot of pain management doctors before. I found Dr. Umanoff and he is by far the best doctor I've ever had to help me with my pain.
