He earned his Master’s in Social Work from Yeshiva University. Michael works with teenagers, adults, and families. Utilizing Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques, Michael collaborates with patients to help them move forward and lead more balanced lives. This is achieved and sustained by providing patients with specific tools to better manage the conditions they are coping with. Much of Michael’s work with individuals and their families involves coaching them through difficult life transitions and immediate challenges they face. He does so with kindness—hence the “K”—while also helping to uncover and unlock the unique qualities they possess. Koach is a transliteration of the Hebrew word ???, which means strength, force, power, or might. Michael partners with everyone to positively affirm just how strong and mighty they are, empowering them to improve their lives.

Michael utilizes an interactive style with straight forward feedback on thought patterns and habitual behaviors to collaboratively find a path forward for individual and families to evolve and keep growing.
