“Long over due review for this excellent Dr. Zemedkin. The office was exceptionally modern and very clean which ads to the experience. The doctor specifically was excellent in treating me personally when I came in with heart issues concern. What was excellent was he did not dismiss my concerns due to my young age, he listend well, asked the right questions and ordered the test based on my concern and his professional assessment . He also treated my father who came in with heart concerns that he took very seriously and treated him urgently which could have saved his life. Thank you for your talent and your patience! ”

About Dr. Micheas Zemedkun
Serving the community of Washington, DC, Dr. Micheas Zemedkun is a trusted cardiologist. He attended Harvard Medical School and completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at New York-Presbyterian Hospital / Weill Cornell Medical Center.
Dr. Zemedkun continued his medical training with a fellowship in cardiovascular medicine at Georgetown University and Washington Hospital Center. He also has completed an advanced training in echocardiography and structural heart disease at Washington Hospital Center. In addition to his clinical responsibilities, he is an active member of the American College of Cardiology, the American Society of Echocardiography, the American Heart Association. Dr. Zemedkun is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and National Board of Echocardiography.
Dr. Zemedkun believes in providing compassionate and comprehensive patient-centered care. He is efficient, decisive, compassionate and meticulous. He always ensures quality and believes in openly communicating with his patients as well as shared decision making.

Very reassuring that there is a reason for my uncontrolled pressure. Scheduled test to make sure he was covering all basis. Very pleasant doctor knew his stuff will be booking a f/u after the test he ordered for me. Would like to make him my cardiologist had a wonderful experience. Staff was very very helpful and knowledgeable of the procedures he ordered for me.
