About Dr. Min Zhang
Min Zhang is an enthusiastic and compassionate optometrist based in Flushing, NY. Originally from China, Dr. Zhang completed her undergraduate studies at Southeast University Medical College in Nanjing, China. She earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the New England College of Optometry and holds a PhD in Ophthalmology from Sun Yat-Sen University in China.
Dr. Zhang has treated and managed a myriad of ocular dysfunctions, including diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, retinal detachment, and allergic eye problems. She also employs ortho-k lenses (CRT) for juvenile myopia control and fits Keratoconus RGP contact lenses.
In addition to treating patients, Dr. Zhang completed postdoctoral training focused on myopia control, glaucoma, and corneal disease research at Duke University and the Cornell Margaret M. Dyson Vision Research Institute. She has published scientific papers and presented at international ophthalmic conferences.
