Dr. Mina Shenouda is a skilled and reliable Spine and Sports Medicine, Pain Management specialist offering a variety of non-surgical and minimally invasive treatment options. Dr. Shenouda received his bachelor’s degree in Physics Biomedical from the College of New Jersey, Ewing, NJ and his medical degree from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, Newark, NJ. He then completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the JFK Johnson Rehabilitation Institute, Edison, NJ. After this, he completed a fellowship in Interventional Spine and Sports medicine at NorthEast Spine and Sports Medicine, and obtained his Certificate of Medical Acupuncture from SUNY Downstate, Brooklyn, NY.
Dr. Shenouda offers his patients the latest in diagnostic and therapeutic interventions. He incorporates ultrasound to diagnose and treat various musculoskeletal conditions, from corticosteroid injections, gel shots/viscosupplementation, platelet rich plasma (PRP) injections, nerve blocks, and more. He offers a variety of spinal interventions for pain management from epidural injections, facet/medial branch blocks and radiofrequency ablations, sacroiliac joint (SIJ) injections, spinal cord stimulator trials, minimally invasive lumbar decompression (mild), and continues to incorporate the newest treatment options. He also performs nerve conduction studies and electromyography (NCS/EMG) to help diagnose and prognosticate various neurologic conditions.
