Dr. Chakos has extensive experience treating patients with depression and other mood disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, anxiety disorders, psychological symptoms secondary to General Medical Disorder or chronic pain, somatoform disorders, insomnia, and ADHD. Her approach involves conducting thorough mental health evaluations, integrating laboratory, radiological, and clinical findings, and prescribing appropriate pharmacological and psychotherapeutic treatments. In her free time, Dr. Chakos enjoys spending time with her husband, family, and friends. She also loves being outdoors, traveling, reading, and enjoying the performing arts.

Nice office , good visit I feel I was listened to . My only complaint is no one is at the desk . We could not open the door and if there wasn’t someone waiting we may have missed the appointment. I utilize Telehealth and it’s awesome. Very pleased with Dr. Chakos.

I am so glad to have this opportunity to share my response to my experience. I accidentally ended up in the wrong life stand office. I was supposed to be in Suffuck but ended up in Chesapeake.. The receptionist in the Chesapeake office graciously help me get connected with my psychiatrist to have a virtual visit. Both ladies were very polite, friendly and helpful.
