“Since I have problematic, atopic skin, I have seen probably 10 dermatologists over the years. Some were terrible. Most were at least somewhat helpful. The biggest issue I have is when doctors don't care much about patient history - and I have a LOT of patient history. Dr. Hanson patiently allowed me to go over my previous derm history, and she came up with an excellent treatment plan. I appreciate that she took my concerns into account while also relying on her experience/expertise to give me the PROPER treatments (I've had misdiagnoses far too many times). Her kindness is very genuine - I really felt like she cared about my skin issues. This was very refreshing. ”

About Dr. Miriam Hanson
Dr. Miriam Hanson specializes in aesthetic skin care, cosmetic and general dermatology. She practices with an all-inclusive approach and a meticulous attention to detail. Dr. Hanson provides an individualized treatment plan for each patient combining cosmeceuticals and aesthetic agents with procedures such as a volume restoration with dermal fillers, neurotoxin injections, resurfacing, chemical peels and laser surgery – all with exquisite results.
Dr. Hanson is a native Austinite. She is a graduate from the University of Virginia and completed her medical training at Baylor College of Medicine where she graduated with Highest Honors in the Alpha Omega Alpha Society. She received her specialty dermatologic training from the University of Chicago and University of Texas Southwestern.
