About Dr. Mohsen Barmada

Dr. Barmada earned his first medical degree (MD) from Aleppo University School of Medicine in Syria. He earned his second medical degree as Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Barmada completed three years residency in podiatry medicine and surgery at Hahnemann/Drexel University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Barmada is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine. He is also first author of the chapter “Calcaneocuboid Arthrodesis” in Clinics in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Journal. Dr. Barmada practiced at a podiatry group in Florida after his residency. He then moved to San Antonio to work at Lackland US Airforce Base for ten years, providing medical care to military families. Dr. Barmada enjoys spending time with his wife and two kids. He enjoys basketball and swimming in his free time.
