I provide individual therapy for children, adolescents, young adults, and adults in a supportive and collaborative environment. What should a new client know about working with you?

My therapy style is warm, collaborative, and down-to-earth. I believe therapy should feel like a safe space where you can be open and feel truly heard. I take time to listen carefully, understand your unique experiences, and work with you to set realistic goals. My approach is strengths-based and solution-focused. That means we’ll not only explore the challenges you’re facing but also build on the skills and resilience you already have. I use evidence-based strategies while keeping things practical, so you’ll leave sessions with tools you can apply in everyday life. Whether I’m working with children, teens, or adults, my goal is to create a supportive partnership that helps you gain confidence, learn new coping strategies, and feel more empowered in your daily life.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In a typical session, we’ll start by checking in on how you’ve been doing since our last visit and what feels most important to focus on that day. I provide a calm and supportive space where you can talk openly about your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Depending on your needs, sessions may include exploring challenges, learning new coping strategies, practicing communication skills, or problem-solving around daily stressors. For children and adolescents, I often use a mix of talk therapy, creative activities, and skill-building exercises to help them express themselves and learn ways to manage emotions and behavior. For adults, sessions may focus more on identifying patterns, processing life events, and building practical strategies for managing stress, relationships, and personal growth. Throughout our work together, I use evidence-based approaches while tailoring each session to your individual goals. The aim is always to help you leave feeling supported, understood, and with tools you can put into practice right away
