About Dr. Nadia Cameron

This is a primary care provider, not a medical specialist - we see patients for a wide range of general health needs, including check-ups, chronic condition management, sick visits, and minor injuries. For concerns that require specialty or surgical care, we can provide an initial evaluation and help coordinate a referral.
Dr. Cameron received her medical degree from Loma Linda University in Loma Linda, California. She did further training in the specialty of Family Medicine at the Family Practice residency in Orlando, Florida. Since then she has worked in Primary Care offices and Urgent Care Clinics in both Alabama and Georgia.
In addition to her medical education and training, Dr. Cameron has completed a Masters degree in the field of nutrition. She enjoys educating her patients with chronic illnesses such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, and heart disease.
Dr. Cameron is committed to helping her patients achieve their best quality of life. She believes in taking time to treat the patient as a whole, and places a strong emphasis on prevention and living an active, healthy lifestyle.

I didn’t get to see Dr.Cameron, however her Nurse Practitioner, Donya Olivier was amazing. So down to earth and knowledgeable. I didn’t know what to expect but I was able to talk to her without being judged and she talked to me as if she truly cared. I had a skin condition that I forgot to tell her about and she asked and diagnosed it without me saying a word. Truly amazing women in this office. Even the women who took my blood was able to find my vein on the first try and no one has ever been able to do that ! I will be making this my home for primary care. I may not have been able to see the head doctor but the team behind her is solid and I appreciate everyone of them.

When I arrived to my appointment, I was told that she wouldn’t be able to see me. She said with the type of card I had she wouldn’t be able to charge my insurance. The office was just not very pleasant. I sent a picture in as well as with my information so she knew what kind of insurance and card I had before I drove 40 minutes to see her. she turned me away. there was also other people in office who really weren’t being seen either.

Absolutely loved my experience with Dr. Cameron — she was amazing! Clear, direct, and incredibly informative, with a great bedside manner that made me feel at ease right away. I also learned that her partner, Dr. Washington, is both a pediatrician and a PCP, which is such a bonus. I’m super excited that my daughter and I can now go to the same office for our care. I absolutely love Dr. Carmen’s bedside manner. She was very attentive and listened and addressed all my heath concerns. I felt comfortable speaking with her about my care and I could tell she showed concern for my overall well-being. In addition, she encouraged and supported my heath goals. I am glad I finally found a good PCP.

Overall, I was disappointed with my experience with Dr. Cameron. She has great reviews on ZocDoc, so my expectation was high. My wait time was long. My appointment lasted 1 1/2 hours for a routine check up. I think that is excessive. Also, Dr. Cameron‘s personality was very flat, she seemed disinterested in me, and moreso, indifferent. For my first time, visiting a doctor, and choosing someone to be my primary care provider, I was expecting her to be more welcoming. Her attitude was almost as if, she could care less if I was there, or not. To make matters worse, she wrote a prescription for me. I asked the front staff to verify that the prescription was transmitted to the pharmacy. Two days later, I went to the pharmacy to pick up my prescription, and of course, it was not there.

My appointment was great!!!! The office was easy to find, extremely clean inside, the staff was friendly, no long wait time at all which was great. Dr. Cameron was super polite and attentive. Which I loved she answered any questions I had which made my visit quick and easy!

Like I stated, I was very pleased with Dr. Cameron. She did not rush me and she asked me if I have any concerns or questions before ending my visit. I am looking forward to my next appointment.
