About Dr. Nadia Gomes
We require New Patients to arrive 30 minutes prior to appointment time and bring your photo ID and insurance cards. Dr. Nadia Gomes is a board certified family medicine physician. She received her undergraduate degree in microbiology and zoology from the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Dr. Gomes earned her Doctor of Medicine from the Medical University of the Americas in Camps, St. Kitts and Nevis, West Indies. She continued her medical education by completing a family medicine residency at Louisiana State University Medical Center in Shreveport, Louisiana.

I needed a new primary doctor. I found Dr. Gomes, I read her profile and read her reviews. Her reviews were great, but she was better in person! She listened and made me feel very comfortable. She does your total care with exception of specialist. I have been in Florida 12 years and she is the first primary doctor that I am very comfortable with and have trust in because she listened to me!

I do not know why other patients who had later appointments with the same doctor went to see her before me. I had to wait over 30 minutes. Once inside the doctor's exam room, there was no waiting. The nurse came in, and then the doctor a few minutes later. Dr. Gnomes was very detailed with me and spent a lot of time with me.

This was my first visit, having recently relocated, and it was wonderful. From check in to check out, everyone was kind and thoughtful and the process went smoothly. I appreciated the option to register in advance online, as it saved time and kept things moving along. Dr. Gomes is absolutely lovely. She is knowledgable and attentive, but also patient with answering my questions. She kept me informed with every step of the visit and made sure I was clear about what was going on and any next steps. I highly recommend this office, which was clean and felt safe. Everyone wore masks and followed social distancing protocols. It was a 5 star visit!
