About Dr. Nadia Strucko Shaw
Nadia Strucko, O.D. is a Board Certified Optometric Physician who earned her Doctor of Optometry from Salus University, Pennsylvania College of Optometry, in 2009, where she specialized in low vision. She also holds a bachelor's degree in Finance from Towson University. After working in finance for three years at T. Rowe Price, she chose to return to optometry school to pursue her passion for science and medicine.
Dr. Strucko is a co-founder, along with her husband Dr. Steven Shaw, of Shaw Eye Care Associates, which later became EyeCare Center of Ocala. She specializes in primary eye care, diagnosing and managing ocular diseases such as diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, and macular degeneration. Additionally, she fits specialty contact lenses, including rigid gas permeables.
Dr. Strucko maintains professional affiliations with the American Optometric Association, Florida Optometric Association, and North Central Florida Optometric Society. She is also certified by the Florida Medical Association and Florida Optometric Association to prescribe oral medications for the treatment of eye disease.

Did a very thorough examination!! Took my Insurance which made it nice. There Frames are bit pricey!!
I would consider going back otherwise.

In the back the staff were great.up front I was told absolutely no for putting new lenses in my frames the gentleman behind the lady that was helping me said don’t bother Davis will not do. Extremely disappointed with this service

Staff was friendly, the initial staff that took me in for most of the testing was nice and tried to make me feel comfortable and guided me through the process. The only thing I would recommend is perhaps having more options for lenses, the styles seemed a little outdated.

Extremely happy with Dr. Shaw. She offered me options for my Dry Eye when another office told me there was not anything I could do about it. She has a great bedside manner.
The young lady who checked me in and I did some test with was also wonderful. Sorry I am bad with names her favorite animals are Giraffes.??

Dr. Shaw was both professional and an effective communicator. It frankly was one of the best eye appointments I have had in memory. I will definitely be returning for future eye related care.

This was the best office and practice I have been to in quite some time. Everyone was very helpful and welcoming. The physician and the staff answered all my questions thoroughly. Even my curiosity questions about the new and excellent equipment I had never seen before. It was an all around comfortable and pleasant experience.
