He embarked on a journey guided by providence toward optometry. Graduating with a Doctor of Optometry degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry in 1999. His dedication led him to an exclusive six-month internship at the world renowned Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami, FL, during his time at NSUCO. Though, due to personal circumstances, his aspirations for a residency program offered to him at Northeastern State University College of Optometry in Ocular Disease and Laser Refractive Surgery were halted, Dr. Bhakta has amassed over 20 years of invaluable experience in ocular disease and refractive eyecare. He has honed his skills through collaborative efforts with esteemed eye surgeons at LASIK Vision Institute, LASIK Plus, Carrot LASIK and Eye Center, King's LASIK, and K2 Vision. His commitment to continuous learning is evident in his daily interactions with his esteemed colleagues at Premier Eyecare of Arizona/CLASIK Vision Care. In addition, he has recently been certified in Scleral Lens Fitting Technology.
