Namita Kothari, M.D., is a board -certified OB/GYN and a Fellow of American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG). She is affiliated and certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She received an excellent training with emphasis on minimally invasive surgery during her residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan, which she completed in 2006. Since then she has been practicing and serving women in the East Valley. Her special interests include managing complex gynecological problems through minimally invasive surgeries and in-office procedures for sterilization, abnormal uterine bleeding and abnormal pap smear. She also has a strong interest in the management of urinary incontinence and pelvic floor relaxation. Dr. Kothari is proficient in managing both high and low risk pregnancies. She is a certified da Vinci® Robotic surgeon with extensive experience in doing laparoscopic surgeries. She thoroughly enjoys being part of her patients' journey of bringing new life into this world and is committed to providing the best care possible. Dr. Kothari has been the recipient of the Patient Choice Award and Compassionate Doctor Recognition. Dr. Kothari has two boys. In her spare time she enjoys traveling with her boys and quality family time.

by far the best doctor i have ever seen for my cysts if not the best dr ever. she asks questions and provides suggestions with the intention of solving the problem entirely, not just for the moment to quickly get u out. just moved here and have a follow up appt in a couple weeks and definitely will be going to her for any other concerns i have!

She was great! I had been trying to make an appointment for a year and a half because I was scared. Dr. Kothari was awesome and she put me at ease and made me comfortable. I go back in about 3 weeks and I'm not worried about it at all.

Dr. Kothari is great! She is a beautiful person, both inside and out. She takes the time to listen to your concerns and is one of the most knowledgeable gyno I have ever had. She is very intelligent and has a very gentle, empathetic demeanor. I would highly recommend her.

Overall my visit went well. The only bad part was having to wait 45 minutes to be taken back into the office and then about another 15 minutes to actually see the doctor. Other than that Dr. Kothari was very nice and explained what she was doing while always asking to make sure I was okay through out the appointment.

I changed insurance companies and they no longer covered my previous gyno, so I went to ZocDoc to find a new provider. Dr. Kothari was very professional and knowledgeable, yet caring and compassionate. A great combination! They went to great lengths to double check tests from my previous provider, and also prompted me that my insurance may not cover two PAPs in one year. Both the doctor and assistant made me feel cared for. Would definitely recommend.
