Dr. Narendra Singh, MD
Dr. Singh graduated in the top ten of his class from Dalhousie Medical School in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada and went on to complete a residency and cardiology fellowship at the University of Toronto. He practiced for 8 years in Toronto at Rouge Valley Health System- Centenary site. He also held leadership roles as the director of Scarborough Cardiology Research, a cofounder of the Greater Toronto Area Community Cardiologists organization and as a past National Secretary of the Canadian Cardiovascular Society. After moving to Atlanta in 2002, Dr. Singh was a partner with Northside Cardiology before joining Atlanta Heart Specialists as the Director of Clinical Research. He has been a site investigator in over 85 national and international trials. He actively designs and conducts independent research. He has published extensively on topics ranging from acute coronary syndromes, health outcomes, disparities in access to care and South Asian heart disease. Dr. Singh holds board certifications in Internal Medicine and Cardiology both in Canada and the USA. Dr. Singh currently serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor at Georgia Regents University – Augusta. He also serves as a Councilor on the Georgia Chapter of the American College of Cardiology board. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, American Heart Association and Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. He performs permanent pacemaker implantation, cardiac catheterization, echocardiography and nuclear stress test interpretation. Dr Singh is married with 3 children. He personally enjoys sports, traveling, live performances and music.
