About Dr. Nate Jones
Dr. Nate Jones received his medical degree from the University of Iowa. He completed his residency in family medicine at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics and further developed his clinical abilities in the field of primary care sports medicine by completing a fellowship at the Medical College of Wisconsin, Froedtert Hospital.
Dr. Jones is a skilled sports medicine specialist, practicing at Loyola Medicine. Certified in sports medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine, he looks after multiple communities in the state of Illinois. Although the lone of the receptionist did not check me in properly because she was I a rush ( I didn’t appeared in the system ) the doctor and the rest of the staff were very professional, attentive and efficient. The Dr. listened and explained very well my concerns. He was very kind .

Great staff still had my parent’s information on file from my pediatrician in oak forest they’ve made the experience great so far in assisting me with a gel injection approval that after almost a year with going through a different doctor they were able to do almost immediately

They need more front desk staff or a better system. People who have an appointment wait in the same line. I arrived 20 minutes before appointment and had to stand in line for 25 minutes. Then I had to wait 45 minutes for my appointment! Even though I have all my information on file, am already a regular patient of Dr. Jones, and had already echecked in, the desk person asked for all my information again. I really do not feel comfortable with this person sitting there for 15 minutes looking into my personal information and records. Loyola really needs to improve their system. Even though I eventually learned they were short staffed from an emergency, this is a regular and standard way this office runs. Person waiting in line before me had no appointment was with the desk person for 55 minutes! There was a mother who had an obviously sick child in line, and those with appointments went before her. She was in line for 40 minutes and was ignored. She had to ask for help! Shame on staff!

Dr. Jones listened well, was patient with this patient, and seemed to really care. He was kind and friendly. He provided a good action plan and next steps, and thoughtfully and clearly explained everything to me. He was great! The office staff (especially both the front desk associates) were also very nice and helpful, as was the X-ray technician. It's an efficient operation (I remarked in the office that it was a "well-oiled machine"!). Thanks to the whole team!

Dr. Jones was very friendly and knowledgeable. I did not expect to get an injection on my first visit but he was prepared to do it until he found out I was getting a Covid shot that afternoon. He explained that the research indicates the steroid injection would interfere with the Covid shot and it was more important for me to get the shot. He said come back two weeks after you had your second shot and we'll do it. I was really glad he was aware of the interaction between the two and asked about it. I will be going back to see him again.
