Dr. Javaherian was excellent . I’ve been to many doctors and it’s so reassuring and refreshing to find someone with compassion. I felt comfortable with her knowledge and approach to medication management which has been difficult for me in thepast. I felt better after just leaving my appointment because I like knowing I’m in good hands.

Not female Dr. Cautious with medications which is good, but no doctor-patient trust and does not talk about alternative methods of treatment.

They take advantage of their patients. They charge you to refill a prescription which is the tackiest practice I've ever encountered when you're dealing with these types of medications that have severe side effects when not taken regularly.

I didn’t know who I would be meeting, but I met with the PA. He was disarming and I was grateful for that! He listened to me and offered me solutions with follow up. I would recommend him!

He was super tentative and supportive and really seemed to harness my problems and trying squashing them. I left with a prescription that I’m confident will make a positive change in my attitude/behavior and couldn’t be happier with my appointment :)

This was my first visit here. The receptionist was particularly unfriendly, which annoyed me, but so far I have confidence in Dr. Javaherian. She was friendly and, compared with other psychiatrists I have had in the past, she seems to bemore thoughtful and cautious when coming up with a treatment plan.

Lol thats not her picture, but i would highly recommend her! She was extremely nice and really listened to me. Even tho we only had about 35 minutes she was really adamate on listening and documenting my complete medical history. Shewas extremely nice and really made it seem like she cared and wanted to help. I also liked that she recommended medication that avoidied side effects that she new i would not like such as weight gain. I dont see why there would be any bad reviews for her because she is great!

Always in a hurry. Never truly tries to listen. Lied to me about side effects of a new medication. Feels like she's just guessing with the meds. Also, I asked her for weeks to take 5 minutes and call my therapistcause I don't always know what to say in those few minutes she gives me and he can explain better. Only agreed to call while I was there for my appointment, and made me feel like she's doing me a favor. I should've known from the start, when the initial meeting took less than 5 minutes... Do yourself a favor and don't go there. Highly unrecommended.

Dr. J. goes down in my records book as an 11+++++ She had a wonderful "bedside manner" and I always feel comfortable and relaxed when I do see her. She listens, she cares and she's helping me so much to getmy everything under control. I bring her little gifts and treats because she deserves it. Great doctor, great staff, see you guys soon.

I've been in to see Dr. Javaherian a few times now and am very satisfied with the service I received. I never had to wait more than 10 minutes to be seen by her. In her initial evaluation she took hertime and listened to all my concerns and life issues. In all of my subsequent visits she's kept up with every issue that I brought up to her initially and has helped me to deal with obstacles effectively! She even has weekend availability but a PA see's patients on the weekend. In my opinion, he is just as good and caring. I would recommend this practice to anyone if you're looking for quality care.

I saw this doctor several times a little over a year ago. I stopped seeing her for my medication because I'm going through a divorce and I moved to Pasadena and thought I'll just get my meds through Urgent Care untilI get on my new post-divorce insurance and then I'll find a new psychiatrist. I wanted a letter though from a psychiatrist to give to the judge stating the extent of my condition. She was the last psychiatrist to treat me a little over a year ago. I made a regular appt. and paid the co-pay. When I told her why I was there and that I needed the letter she refused because it had been a little over a year since I had been there. I explained the divorce and that I had moved but she was extremely unsympathetic. She's unempathetic and a very cold person with no bedside manner.

I would appreciate if I could be seen at the appointment time. I usually have to wait at least 30 minutes and I'm driving in fro. Santa Barbara. The other issue I have is trying to get a hold of someonein the office. When I run out of my medication, I should be able to reach someone.

I found Doctor encouraging, patient and really interested on helping sort out my issues. On follow-up visits, she re-caps on prior talks, gets updates, in a word, we converse. No judgement, which makes her suggestions easy to follow. Doctorstaff is pleasan and professional. I receive reminders of appt. and call backs with answers to my questions. If doctor needs to reschedule, her staff will let me know asap and r/s my appt. God Bless this doctor and her amazing staff. Be well.

Went well, gave doctor a gift of a quartz fruit of Apple and An onion, to show for her son and new office digs. All in our session was good, except I want to ALERT Dr. J. that if she looksback to the beginning of my records, she will see that a copy of ALL MY prescriptions that I have been taking! Good to see her.

I will be honest because I have been to a lot of medical professionals in my life - and it seems most people don't understand what a psychiatrist should be like. I thought Dr. J was very kind, but as apsychiatrist it appeared she would've given me anything I asked for. On top of not even explaining the dangerous side effects of medications that I was taking, having to find about the risks on my own time. I have been to psychiatrists who take a lot of time the first time I am evaluated, usually a 45 minute consultation. Not asking "what are you here for or what medication do you need" when I walk in. I don't know what I need, I'm not a doctor. On top of waiting for over 2 hours before for an appointment, and seeing her come in late pretty much every time I was there. To be fair the wait was when I was a walk-in, but there were only three other patients waiting before me. When I had a scheduled time the wait was usually 30 minutes after that. She is a nice lady, don't get me wrong. She had defended my time slot before when another lady was upset I was going before her. I ended up taking my medical issues elsewhere and am very content on the attention and concern I got. I am a person who has trouble taking initiative with medical professionals, as I am sure many people (who are new especially) have issues with as well. So in the future I would maybe recommend to Dr. J that she tries to ask more questions instead of expecting her patients to be completely aware of whats happening with them. I may be wrong and this may just be my experience, but it is honest.

I like this doctor. She listened to me and trusted that I know my own body. She let me know what to look out for going forward, and what my options are if I need to change medications. She's also notout to milk my insurance company with unneeded appointments, which is a relief.

Dr. Javaherian was friendly and listened to my concerns. She made a recommendation that other doctors/psychiatrists haven't offered before, and she seemed to know her stuff! I had to fill out some digital forms in the office and I wasn't actuallyseen by the Doctor until about 15 minutes after my scheduled time. Still, the appointment was pretty quick and I didn't feel rushed. Hopefully the treatment she recommended works for me but I'm confident in going back to see her.

Very unwelcoming and not really friendly. I am always wanted to see a psychiatrist, but she made it tough to talk. Sat behind her desk for the entire "5" minutes she granted me with her presences. I went in right aftermy grandmother passed away, she should no sympathy, just a cold smile. Explained my conditions and her response was take a shot of whiskey. Not my choice for a doctor, especially if you have a lot of emotions.
