About Dr. Neelam Sharma

I had a 4 pm appt as a new patient. The office is 36 minutes from my job. I left an hour before my appt so I could arrive early to check in. There was a heavy storm as I was driving and lots of traffic on the turnpike. I notified the office 45 minutes prior to my appt that I was en route and that there was bad weather and traffic. I first thought I would only be a few minutes late but my ETA kept changing as I was driving and I arrived 20 minutes late. (I own being late but the traffic and weather were beyond my control) I was informed that they had a 15 minute grace period (which I was not informed of when I called), and the Dr had left for the day. I had driven an hour and a half in terrible weather and didn’t get as much as a courtesy call to inform me that the Dr was leaving and I should not bother coming in. No one offered to reschedule. The staff was still there, but no one thought to call. Instead the front desk person smirked at me and shrugged her shoulders. So disappointed.
