Raised in the vibrant city of New York, Dr. Khan was deeply moved by the healthcare disparities faced by immigrant communities, motivating her to pursue a career in medicine to effect positive change.
Dr. Khan embarked on her academic journey by earning her undergraduate degree in Biology from SUNY Buffalo State College. Following her passion for medicine, she pursued her medical degree at UNIBE (Universidad Iberoamericana) in the Dominican Republic. My experience was very positive. I was sent a reminder of my upcoming appointment. I filled out the e-check in papers on the link provided. Day of appointment I arrived 20 minutes early. The staff was on point, and I was seen at time scheduled.
Dr. Neelma Khan was very kind in greeting me as a new patient, I instantly felt at ease talking with her. She took time and didn't rush as she questioned me about my cause for seeking medical care. She explained how and what she would do as we work on improving my overall health. Yes, I would definitely tell others of my positive experience.
