Tell us what makes you passionate about being a healthcare provider.
The opportunity to explore a person's potential for complete healing, working together as a team, excites me. I am passionate about creatively educating my patients and providing customized health counseling that facilitates an enjoyable, self-sufficient healing journey.
In your opinion, what should be the role of a primary care provider for a patient, taking into account both physical health and behavioral health needs?
As a PCP, I believe in serving as my patients' holistic health educator and professional friend. This includes listening attentively to their health concerns, then performing a thoroughly efficient evaluation so I can provide them with the wisest health guidance available to them. My goal is to facilitate their ability to function optimally in life.
Tell us a little bit about yourself. What do you like to do in your spare time?
I love to learn, primarily through reading and writing. I enjoy staying physically active—dancing is a favorite—and making music. I also love learning to care for all animals, including dogs. Last but not at all least, I cherish spending quality time with my friends and family.

I was in the Zoom waiting room ready for my appointment, and the doctor canceled it and I was charged a $50 no show fee. The doctor never started the appointment and then I was penalized for her mistake. Maybe this was a platform issue, but she has not responded to my messages in the hours since.

Absolutely love Dr. Nakia. She took the time to listen to me and wanted
to ensure she knew all she could to make sure I am on the right road. It wasn’t
all about the medication. She wants to make sure your daily life is healthy, from
