Dr. Nji Fru is a Psychiatric Mental Health and Family Nurse Practitioner treating patients across the lifespan. He holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Massachusetts, a Master’s in Nursing from Walden University, a Bachelor’s degree from Sojourner-Douglass College, and a diploma from Capital Health Institute. Practicing since 2017, Dr. Fru has an extensive track record of administering medical and psychiatric services to diverse populations, including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and older adults. Dr. Nji provides patient care for any psychiatric disorder.
He has served as a Nurse Practitioner with the Prince George’s County Health Department and several community clinics. His primary focus is on providing leadership in mental health, addiction treatment, patient management, clinical experience, mentoring and developing staff, and effective multitasking to meet organizational goals.
Dr. Nji enjoys functioning as a presenter, liaison, and leader. His patients continually recognize him for his attention to detail and his ability to listen actively and address their concerns with a fresh yet grounded approach to medical treatments, working within medical guidelines to achieve their treatment objectives.
