About Dr. Nolan Kennedy
Dr. Nolan Kennedy, originally from Epworth, Iowa, earned his Bachelor's degree in Biology from Iowa State University of Science and Technology, graduating magna cum laude. He then went on to earn his Doctor of Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, where he was salutatorian of his class. As a lifelong Iowan, Dr. Kennedy's goal is to provide care to as many people as he can reach and make the greater Cedar Rapids area a healthier place for all who reside.
Within chiropractic, many different techniques and styles of adjusting exist. Dr. Kennedy utilizes Diversified, Gonstead, Thompson, Activator, and extremity adjusting techniques. Everyone's spine is unique, and with that comes different preferences for adjusting styles. Dr. Kennedy's main priority is tailoring each patient's care to what is most comfortable and efficient for that specific patient. Symptoms can display similarly from patient to patient, but Dr. Kennedy's goal is to get to the root cause of an issue and analyze the patient as a whole, not merely someone with a specific type of pain.
During his free time, you can find Dr. Kennedy playing with his dog, Ziggy, watching or participating in sporting events, tasting craft beer, playing bar trivia, or spending time with his friends and family in Eastern Iowa.

Never too late to see a chiropractor! Highly recommend making an appointment here. Dr. Kennedy goes above and beyond in providing care to his patients. You will walk out of Advantage Chiropractic with knowledge about properly caring for your body!

Dr. Kennedy is very passionate about providing chiropractic care to his patients. He is very accommodating and flexible with appointment times, which is why I choose to continue driving over an hour to see him. His adjustments always help whatever concerns I need addressed, and I always look forward to my next visit. Dr. Kennedy also provides lots of explanations and patient education to help me understand my care better. Great office space and location as well. Highly recommend.
