About Dr. Oki Borowski

Dr. Oki Villarreal Borowski is a graduate of the highly regarded Palmer College of Chiropractic (PCC) in Davenport, IA that was started by, and bears the name of, chiropractic’s founding father D.D. Palmer. Dr. Oki received extensive training and a second-to-none education at Palmer College of Chiropractic, while successfully completing a wide variety of courses covering chiropractic techniques, nutrition, science, and health-related disciplines, as well as extensive physical therapy and rehabilitation techniques. Dr. Oki worked as a volunteer doctor at Palmer’s Outreach Clinic in an attempt to provide care for the less fortunate who did not have the access or means to proper health care. She also participated in a 10-day Clinic Abroad trip to Garopaba, Brazil to provide care to a population that is underserved in terms of healthcare options. Prior to attending PCC, Dr. Oki received her BSEE from the University of Illinois at Chicago and worked for Tellabs for 7 years as an electrical engineer. One of her last projects was installing the first OC-192 fiber optic ring around the island of Puerto Rico. The practice was founded over 110 years ago in 1909. Dr. Oki is the fourth chiropractor and the first woman to purchase the clinic in 2009 and promises to carry on the legacy of chiropractic care and natural healing. Since taking over the reins in 2009 her practice has evolved and improved for the sole purpose of serving the Aurora community. In addition to great chiropractic care, she offers manual therapy, physical therapy, custom orthotic fittings, and pediatric chiropractic care as well as wellness care that patients of this practice have come to expect over the past 100 years. She is also clinically trained as a Nutrition Response Testing practitioner which is a non-invasive way of analyzing the body to determine the underlying causes of ill health.
