About Dr. Osher Rechester
About Dr. Osher Rechester, MD
Dr. Osher Rechester completed his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry at the University of Massachusetts Boston.
After completing his undergraduate degree, he did research at Harvard (Massachusetts General Hospital), where he worked in the laboratory of Shaw Warren, M.D., who directed a research lab which studied mediators of sepsis and inflammation.
He subsequently received his M.D. after completing medical school at NYMC School of Medicine in Westchester County, New York.
He then proceeded to do his medical internship and residency in Neurology at Westchester Medical Center.
After completing his medical training, he went on to do an international post-graduate fellowship in Ethics and Philosophy at the Heiden Institute in Israel. Dr. Rechester has contributed to multiple research publications and he has also won multiple research and scholarship awards.
He received a scholarship to attend the Penry Residents Epilepsy Program at Wake Forest University in 2022. He also presented on frontal lobe epilepsy at Epilepsy Grand Rounds at Westchester Medical Center.
His interests in neurology include epilepsy and behavioral neurology.

Doctor was very thorough and knowledgeable. Wait time was pretty long but as thorough as he was with us I imagine he was with his other patients which most likely pushed the wait time longer than we had anticipated. Worth the wait though.

My appointment was at 6pm and I got there an hour earlier by 5pm in case I have to fill out any forms. Some patients came after me , my time was 6pm but the patients that came after me were seeing first. When I told the secretary that why they did not see me first, she told me that because I was a new patient I have to wait, but that I wpuld be the next one. The Doctor came out and instead of calling me called the other patient that came after me and it was already 7pm, so the secretary told him that I was suppose to be next and he said that I was suppose to be the last patient. This is ridiculous. They prioritize old pts over new patients so what about my time it doesn't count because I'm a new pt? My advise for "New Patients" is that be prepared to go to this place, because your time is not valuable for them and you may have to wait long hours before you can be seen. So unethical and unprofesional. Hope they do not charge me for this visit because I did not got to see this doctor.

As a first time patient to this Medical establishment I was very pleased with the mannerism, helpfulness and general procedure of the associates. They were friendly, cheerful, kind and thoughtful. They all treated me like I was human in need of genuine care and they were concerned. When I met Dr. OSHER he made me feel like I was the only patient he had for the day, called me by my name and listened to what I had to say. Hands down I give Dr Osher and his team 5 stars.
