About Dr. Padma Chava
Dr. Chava joins Cardiac Associates of North Jersey with over 30 years of experience in internal medicine. She earned her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from Guntur Medical College. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Woodhull Medical and Mental Health Center in Brooklyn, NY, and her fellowship in Geriatrics Medicine at Hackensack University Medical Center in Hackensack, NJ. Dr. Chava focuses on preventive care and manages a wide range of medical conditions such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, thyroid issues, and obesity. She is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and provides her patients with highly personalized and comprehensive treatment plans.

My appointment was supposed to be a video call but I did not receive instructions for the call. I called because no one reached out to me during my appointment time. Dr. Chava called back 30+ minutes after my appointment time by phone and seemed like she was incredibly rushed and didn't want to be talking to me. She did not do a good job explaining my diagnosis, and pretty much just prescribed me what I thought that I needed. She then ended up hanging up before I could ask any follow-up questions.
