Getting to know Dr. Paola Conte

Dr. Conte is a licensed clinical psychologist in New York, with advanced training in CBT, ACT (next generation CBT), mindfulness and biofeedback . Having been a Division 1 college athlete, Dr. Conte also is very interested in sports psychology and peak performance skills applied to career and creative endeavors. She completed her internship and NIH post-doctoral fellowship in Pediatric Psychology at the University of Miami. Dr. Conte served on the medical staff at Hackensack University Medical Center for many years, treating patients with chronic illness and chronic pain. Dr. Conte has maintained a private practice since 2001 which has offered a breadth of experience treating clients with many types of emotional and physical disorders. Although Dr. Conte has specialized training in child, adolescent and young adult issues, she sees clients throughout the lifespan. Dr. Conte strives to provide the most empirically sound interventions; she attends trainings and conferences and does peer supervision to be able to provide optimal treatment. Dr. Conte is proud to have partners and colleagues who share her passion for a compassion focused and flexibility based approach to living and helping others.
