About Dr. Patrick McManamon

A true vision scientist, Dr. Pat is passionate about helping deliver the highest quality vision for his patients. You can expect him to be kind, compassionate, and most of all, patient. The only thing that out measures his height (he is almost 6’ 6”!) is his gigantic heart. He loves to bond with his patients and always leads with kindness. Just get him talking about hiking, biking, his dog, or most importantly, his wife Alison and their daughter Rose, and prepare to be entertained! After graduating and completing his residency in Cornea and Contact Lenses at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry (now Salus at Drexel University), Dr. McManamon spent 8 years as the Director of Dry Eye and Specialty Contact Lenses at one of the busiest ophthalmology practices in southeastern Pennsylvania. Dr. McManamon’s expertise in cataract co-management led him to be Pennsylvania’s first optometrist and one of the first three in the country to perform adjustments for the Light Adjustable Lens (LAL). At SVI, Dr. Pat and Dr. Shafer work side-by-side to ensure that all of our patients get the care they need and deserve. Take care of your eyes and sight is our greatest joy!
