He is also licensed to practice in the state of California. Dr. Wrotslavsky earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. He completed his residency in podiatric surgery at North General Hospital in New York, followed by a fellowship in clinical limb reconstruction at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore. His training on the East Coast included mastering techniques such as performing a full biomechanical exam, which allows him to identify lower extremity pathology from the spine all the way to the foot. He was fortunate to complete his orthopedic fellowship as the Chief Fellow under the guidance of Dr. Dror Paley and Dr. John Herzenberg at the International Center for Limb Lengthening in Baltimore, Maryland. The Limb Reconstruction Fellowship Program provided extensive experience in the prevention and treatment of limb-threatening foot ailments such as diabetic Charcot neuroarthropathy, malunions, nonunions, and various limb deformities. During this program, Dr. Wrotslavsky adopted techniques from the science of distraction osteogenesis and became skilled in using a full range of orthopedic fixation materials, including screws, intramedullary rods, plates, as well as monolateral and circular fixators. These advanced techniques and materials enable him to effectively treat a variety of complex deformities.
