“Office was clean and comfortable. We were greeted by kind and professional staff and the paperwork was done pretty quickly. Dr. Ahn came to take us in almost immediately after we completed the paperwork and was very efficient and kind. Dr. Ahn asked us basic questions about our history and the reason for our current visit. She then kept us informed as to what each test was meant to do and her recommendations as to a course of treatment. Very good listener, knowledgeable to be able to provide solutions and very efficient getting us in and out. Wonderful experience all around, A+++!”

About Dr. Phoebe Ahn
Dr. Phoebe Ahn is a board-certified optometrist. She earned her Bachelor's degree from Vanderbilt University and then received her Doctor of Optometry degree from SUNY College of Optometry, with an emphasis on Pediatrics. Dr. Ahn graduated as a member of Beta Sigma Kappa, the optometric honor society, and served as Vice President of the College of Optometrists in Vision Development at her school. She is professionally affiliated with the American Optometric Association and the New York State Optometric Association. Her clinical interests include glaucoma management, pediatrics, and myopia management. Having grown up in the U.S., Korea, and Panama, Dr. Ahn is passionate about providing culturally competent care and taking a holistic approach when examining her patients. This location was recommended by a friend who had a great experience and I had to agree that it was the same for me. The office is pretty clean and can accommodate many patients. The front desk staff was courteous and checked me in really quickly. The wait time to see the doctor was less than 30 minutes. When I met with the doctor it was a thorough examination. She provided explanations throughout the exam to inform me of everything she was going to do and why. I was out of the office within an hour.

I felt like I appreciate the insight the doctor gave me. I left with a paper of my new prescription, and also tips on what can be done about issues with my eye comfort. The office actually squeezed me in freely after I missed two appointments and made sure that I didn't wait at all! I will be going back. The front desk is friendly and helpful.

Office was cool staff was nice but I was seen and tested by a student who is about to graduate congrats but the provider should have been In there with him . Some of his measurement’s was off she corrected him , once she came to check behind him I’m still seeing the black spot in my which that was the reason I went in and now my right eye is still cloudy from the drops he administered during the test which should have cleared up and no gloves where used while touching your eye lid etc after typing and touching his phone … I don’t play about my eyes or limbs and I don’t like be an experiment

I was seen promptly and received a thorough eye exam. Equipment is up to date and the office is clean. The doctors are gentle and knowledgeable. I also enjoyed my interactions with front office staff.

Dr. Ahn was very nice and friendly, and her colleague Laura did a great job and was super friendly. Loved the little touch of describing everything she was going to do before doing it instead of just pushing my head around to move my eyes where needed. Fast, easy, and friendly. I wasn't expecting to have a copay (billed as a specialist visit for medical) or to have to shell out separately for the contact fitting, but it was still cheaper than without insurance and the experience was great.
