About Dr. Phuong-Loan Dong

Undergraduate Education: Houston Baptist University; Bachelor of Science. Optometry School: University of Houston College of Optometry 1992. Professional Achievements and Associations: Texas Optometric Association. Clinical Certifications and Specialties: Therapeutic Optometrist; Optometric Glaucoma Specialist. The reason I became an optometrist is: I had wanted to be in the healthcare profession, so I chose Optometry because it allows a balance between patient care and family life. I have dedicated 28 plus years to practicing Optometry and I am proud to have contributed to the eye care community and to provide the vision care and needs to all my patients. My favorite part of helping my patients is: knowing that I could make a difference in their lives by helping them seeing their best. In my spare time, I enjoy: staying connected with family and friends. I love to travel and experience different cultures. I also enjoy being in nature to absorb all its beauty and to self-reflect.
