About Dr. Pierre Gordon
Intake forms must be filled out ahead of time. Accurate insurance information, including member id, is required at time of booking. There is a $40 no-show/late cancellation fee.
Dr. Gordon is committed to continuous growth. He demonstrated this by earning a Doctor of Medicine from the State University of New York, Stony Brook, followed by a residency in Gynecology at Howard University Hospital. After residency, he received a Master’s in Business Administration. Later, he spent a year building on his previous training, experience, and knowledge of the body and surgical principles by completing a fellowship in Cosmetic Surgery at the Mandell-Brown Plastic Surgery Center, an American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery accredited center. Dr. Gordon also maintains his original certification annually as required by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He has held a faculty position and continues to teach medical students and residents.
Combining these two sets of skills and knowledge, Dr. Gordon offers a blend of artistry and medicine, providing a variety of services for more comprehensive care than typically available. He serves residents of Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Virginia and currently practices at numerous medical centers. Dr. Gordon also speaks English, French, Spanish, and Creole.

Dr. Gordon and his staff were wonderful. The environment was warm and friendly which is important particularly with gynecological visits. I felt cared for.
In my case Dr. Gordon urged me to go directly to an urgent care because my blood pressure was extremely high. I fought, but he and his staff identified the urgency. I did what was instructed and he may have well saved my life.
I’m very grateful that I chose him as my GYN, thanks to ZocDoc.

I feel very lucky to have found Dr. Gordon’s office. My insurance was accepted and covered all the expenses. The visit went great, everything was smooth, and now I’m just waiting for my test results and a follow-up appointment in a month. I highly recommend this place: it’s easy to find, easy to get to, and everyone is incredibly helpful and friendly.

Appointment and booking staff did not inquire proper charges for my insurance benefits and charged me for a wellness visit that was supposed to be at no charge. Then to attempt to cover it up before my results came in with Quest,which I have the app for so I viewed them the minute they posted, she advised she'll just have the office credit for next visit follow up. She was really bad at trying to play on my intelligence. Unfortunately she cost this doctor a loss of a new patient.

I had a very disappointing experience at Dr. Pierre Gordon’s office today. After a sleepless night and an early start to my day, I drove 35 minutes for my appointment. When I arrived, I was told that Dr. Gordon couldn’t see me because he needed to leave. There was no prior communication or consideration for the time and effort I put into being there. I left feeling frustrated and undervalued as a patient. I cannot recommend this office based on the lack of professionalism I encountered.

Large miscommunication. No clear instructions provided on how to locate the office prior to my arrival. It appeared this office was inside a hotel. I called again for instructions and was told to go to suite 801 from the hotel lobby. I was knocking on 801, a man’s hotel room who began to yell. I was told again by the receptionist to go back to that same door and wait. I left and was unable to get care.

This was my first time seeing Dr. Gordon and I must say I was well pleased. I had to find a new gynecologist due to my insurance changed. I had been with my old gynecologist for over 10 years but I definitely wasn’t disappointed with Dr. Gordon. He was professional, knowledgeable and very kind.

I am a Registered Nurse with 18 years experience who visited Dr. Gordon's practice, I usually don't let doctors' offices know what I do for a living, just so I can truly see if I would receive good customer service, however, I was very pleased with this office.
Dr. Gordon was very direct with his parient education style, he educated me on best treatment approach to my medical concerns, his Nurse has great beside manners and shows empathy.
He addressed other immediate medical issues that presented during my visit which was not related to the reasons why I booked the appointment, the office staffs were professional and courteous. I am very critical when it comes to medical office staffs, but Dr. Gordon and his medical practice staff by far exceeded my usual expectations.
From the physician to the receptionist, the patient care and office atmosphere shows they are wonderful people.
